Solar for All Capacity Building will develop incubators and academies in developing countries with experienced and internationally recognized social entrepreneurs. These ‘knowledge transfer hubs’ support young social entrepreneurs, technicians and engineers in developing their entrepreneurial skills and their development of well-adapted technical solutions for the lowest income communities.
Solar for All also supports solar businesses in their process to getting to investment readiness and securing commercial sources of finance.
Another form of capacity building is the fostering of intensive collaboration across sectoral boundaries, bringing together business, government and non-profit organisations to address the issues of energy access. The Solar for All Initiative also combines expertise from across the sectors, bringing leading players from the solar industry together with commercial and social investors and social entrepreneurs to create transformative innovations in the solar PV market for developing countries.
